In the 3rd minute Ciro Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 4 minutes, Flavian Londoño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cordoba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavian Londoño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Lomitas's goal looked a bit too open when Flavian Londoño came free, but Higinio Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lomitas's Marcelo Bermund got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lomitas's Higinio Ferran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Lomitas from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lomitas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gaudencio Hernando hit a great ball. Higinio Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavian Londoño in the 13th minute of play. Flavian Londoño struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Higinio Ferran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordoba FC. Israel Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Marcelo Bermund made a precise shot to the right of Israel Salomone. Cordoba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Marcelo Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Bermund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Salomone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ciro Fonso kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Bermund in the 41st minute of play forced Cordoba FC's goalkeeper Israel Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavian Londoño in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Ferran saved Lomitas from getting behind. After 62 minutes of play, Cordoba FC's Ciro Fonso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Ferran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute of the match Amadeo Nofre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higinio Ferran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lomitas's Higinio Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavian Londoño in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Ciro Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flavian Londoño came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Cordoba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavian Londoño couldn't finish the play. Higinio Ferran came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cordoba FC's Flavian Londoño. But to his dismay, Flavian Londoño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 88th match minute, Cordoba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Bemabe in the 90th minute of play forced Cordoba FC's goalkeeper Israel Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lomitas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Amador Fernanco hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Samuel Venceslao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cordoba FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
