Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andres Abadie started the match with the kick off. When Gilberto Manilan came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lomitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Manilan couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Bermund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelino Gaizko came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Bermund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Burni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Ferran was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lomitas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Larpe was slow to take the kick. During this time Huanqueros FC's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Elvio Pirro to score against Higinio Ferran in Lomitas's goal. 1-1 after 13 minutes. The supporters of Huanqueros FC booed when Lomitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Orlo in the 20th minute of play forced Huanqueros FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Andres Abadie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Ferran was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Marcelino Gaizko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Huanqueros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Pirro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Gilberto Manilan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Manilan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Andres Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Huanqueros FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Conrado Selatse hit a great ball. Gilberto Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute of the match Gaudencio Hernando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Gaizko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Lomitas getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Amador Fernanco hit a great ball. Higinio Ferran came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Huanqueros FC's Andres Abadie. But to his dismay, Andres Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 68th minute, Gustavo Burni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Ferran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Bemabe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Gaizko was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Andres Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Higinio Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Nicanor Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robustiano Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Isaias Savier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Gaizko having to interfere. Chants of Huanqueros FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Lomitas had held the ball for most of the match.
