In the 4thth minute of the game Florin Panțâru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Marinho scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Veremundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Malte Sandberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Veremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in River Tu Grato Nombre's zone, Florin Panțâru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Veremundo came out of the goal and Florin Panțâru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Patanes's Guillermo Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Malte Sandberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Veremundo. River Tu Grato Nombre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malte Sandberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Waldemar Cwynar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Banegas's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Florin Panțâru sped through River Tu Grato Nombre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uriel Veremundo. Uriel Veremundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Panțâru's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Armando Manuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes, Armando Manuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Tu Grato Nombre and the Los Patanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes River Tu Grato Nombre got a freekick which was hit by Armando Manuelo. After some careless play in the River Tu Grato Nombre defense, Florin Panțâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Veremundo. The River Tu Grato Nombre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Veremundo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florin Panțâru was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Los Patanes's Ismael Marinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uriel Veremundo. Uriel Veremundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Florin Panțâru in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uriel Veremundo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 58 minutes into the match, River Tu Grato Nombre's goalkeeper Uriel Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florin Panțâru. In the 59th minute, Esteban Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Florin Panțâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th match minute, River Tu Grato Nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save River Tu Grato Nombre from getting a goal against them. Serafino Dimo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Malte Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Uriel Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Patanes. Uriel Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Panțâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Florin Panțâru took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Uriel Veremundo to make any attempt to save it. Uriel Veremundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Panțâru's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Uriel Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Txanton was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, one of River Tu Grato Nombre:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Los Patanes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
