River Tu Grato Nombre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Xabat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Florencio Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Ruben Rexino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Tu Grato Nombre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wildermuth AFC the free kick. Ruben Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Odol in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, one of Wildermuth AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wildermuth AFC. The referee gave River Tu Grato Nombre a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafino Dimo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wildermuth AFC's Domingo Hartz. 2-1. Florencio Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gerardo Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Odol was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Wildermuth AFC's zone, Leopoldo Banegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Hartz came out of the goal and Leopoldo Banegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wildermuth AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gustavo Rodas hit a great ball. Serafino Dimo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Domingo Hartz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gerardo Odol struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Uriel Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wildermuth AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gerardo Odol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wildermuth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Odol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Veremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, River Tu Grato Nombre's Oscar Txanton got a free kick in the 64th minute. Florencio Xabat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Veremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. When Florencio Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Wildermuth AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Xabat couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes River Tu Grato Nombre got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Rexino. River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Odol in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in River Tu Grato Nombre's zone, Florencio Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Veremundo came out of the goal and Florencio Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Gerardo Odol made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Veremundo. River Tu Grato Nombre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Florencio Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, River Tu Grato Nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Banegas to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, River Tu Grato Nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Xabat came free, but Uriel Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Florencio Xabat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wildermuth AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. If Florencio Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Hurko in the 95th minute of play. Wildermuth AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
