Higinio Ferran came out of the goal and Arnaldo Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Alzamendi in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Ferran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lomitas's zone, Okanalp Özdil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Ferran came out of the goal and Okanalp Özdil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Bermund. The crowd rose to their feet as Lomitas's Marcelo Bermund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Bonifaco. That made the score 9-1 after 73 minutes of play. Timoteo Michael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Ferran having to make a save. Higinio Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Alzamendi in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Candelaria FC got a corner. Lomitas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Gómez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Candelaria FC's Antonio Alzamendi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Antonio Alzamendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Alzamendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Antonio Alzamendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Lomitas's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Pellen came free, but Higinio Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
