In the 7th minute, Thiago Almada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pulpera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute, Amaury Maertens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Veremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Fabio Maldonado notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo. Uriel Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Almada in the 18th minute of play forced River Tu Grato Nombre's goalkeeper Uriel Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Pulpera FC got a freekick which was hit by Amaury Maertens. After a rather tough play, River Tu Grato Nombre's Oscar Txanton got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, River Tu Grato Nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Amaury Maertens came free, but Uriel Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Fabio Maldonado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Ruben Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Pulpera FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Isidor during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Cirilo Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of River Tu Grato Nombre booed when Pulpera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Uriel Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Maldonado in the 62nd minute of play. When Amaury Maertens came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pulpera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amaury Maertens couldn't finish the play. Uriel Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Maldonado in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the River Tu Grato Nombre defense, Amaury Maertens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Veremundo. The River Tu Grato Nombre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Veremundo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Maldonado got free with Uriel Veremundo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pulpera FC's Thiago Almada got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafino Dimo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Maldonado in the 78th minute of play. After 82 played minutes River Tu Grato Nombre got a freekick which was hit by Armando Manuelo. In the 89th minute of the match, Thiago Almada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Uriel Veremundo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ruben Rexino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the River Tu Grato Nombre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Rexino couldn't finish the play. Pulpera FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
