The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Dei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Conrado Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Arnaldo Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Great Footballers S.A.'s Conrado Dei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Arnaldo Marquez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Conrado Dei. Sven-Olof Sjöberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Dei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Olof Sjöberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Matxin in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Marquez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Dei saved Great Footballers S.A. from getting behind. Conrado Dei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Marquez's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Great Footballers S.A.'s Cipriano Matxin got a free kick in the 18th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Arnaldo Marquez sped through Great Footballers S.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Dei. When Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th minute Sven-Olof Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Marquez in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Dei saved Great Footballers S.A. from getting behind. Conrado Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Marquez in the 32nd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Great Footballers S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Cai. In the 39th match minute, Great Footballers S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Matxin to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Sven-Olof Sjöberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 45 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Matxin came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Sven-Olof Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Conrado Dei managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th minute, Bart Pellen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Great Footballers S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Silban to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Dei. Great Footballers S.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 63 minutes into the match, Marciano Lekubegi notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Great Footballers S.A.'s Conrado Dei. Conrado Dei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil was substituted for Arnaldo Marquez. Candelaria FC's Christian Gómez was substituted for Sven-Olof Sjöberg. After 67 played minutes Great Footballers S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Tome. Alejo Castulo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Conrado Dei made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Okanalp Özdil sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Great Footballers S.A.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Okanalp Özdil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Conrado Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Okanalp Özdil went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Okanalp Özdil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After 86 played minutes Gregorio Elixio rounded Great Footballers S.A.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. Alejo Castulo's late challenge caught a Candelaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Castulo helped the player get up and apologised. Alejo Castulo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gregorio Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Conrado Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Isidoro Tome fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Footballers S.A.'s protests and gave Isidoro Tome a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Tome hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Candelaria FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Great Footballers S.A. throughout the match.
