Uriel Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Marquez in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, River Tu Grato Nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Olof Sjöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Uriel Veremundo made a huge save. In the 8th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Bonifaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Dimo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, River Tu Grato Nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Marquez came free, but Uriel Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Sjöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. River Tu Grato Nombre's Uriel Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save River Tu Grato Nombre from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Bart Pellen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Uriel Veremundo to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Arnaldo Marquez sped through River Tu Grato Nombre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uriel Veremundo. In the 35th minute Sven-Olof Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Leopoldo Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Tu Grato Nombre's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Sven-Olof Sjöberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Veremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With an all-out effort, Candelaria FC's Uriel Veremundo threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bart Pellen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Uriel Veremundo. Arnaldo Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafino Dimo to make the kick off. Arnaldo Marquez took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Veremundo. Uriel Veremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Uriel Veremundo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Bart Pellen. But to his dismay, Bart Pellen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Candelaria FC's Antonio Alzamendi was substituted for Bart Pellen. Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Okanalp Özdil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Uriel Veremundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the game, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Veremundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 79 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Veremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Tu Grato Nombre's goalkeeper Uriel Veremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okanalp Özdil in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Veremundo saved River Tu Grato Nombre from getting behind. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Candelaria FC. Okanalp Özdil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uriel Veremundo. 12-0. Candelaria FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
