The referee ignored Miljo's protests and gave Luis Bernard a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the match, Ascensión's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Oalo came free, but Enzo Bixintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Curcio in the 15th minute of play forced Ascensión's goalkeeper Enzo Bixintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Ascensión got a freekick which was hit by Dante Sustrai. In the 19th match minute, Miljo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Curcio to maneuver through the defense. Maciej Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Montae in the 21st minute of play. Norberto Atauri succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Enzo Bixintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Curcio in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Mateo Curcio made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Bixintxo. Ascensión's Enzo Bixintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Oalo in the 39th minute of play. Mateo Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Bixintxo having to interfere. Alberto Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Miljo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gregorio Bingen hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mateo Curcio made the kick off in the second half. Enzo Bixintxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Atauri in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Todor during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ascensión getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gaudencio Todor hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes, Miljo's Alberto Karlo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enzo Bixintxo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miljo reached it. Miljo made a substitution. Eugenio Libertad replaced Ildefonso Maria. The supporters of Miljo booed when Ascensión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Montae didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Norberto Atauri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miljo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 63 played minutes Miljo got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Oalo. The supporters of Miljo booed when Ascensión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Bixintxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Curcio went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Curcio in the 72nd minute of play forced Ascensión's goalkeeper Enzo Bixintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ascensión defense, Mateo Curcio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Bixintxo. The Ascensión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Bixintxo should have stopped the shot. Miljo's Delmiro Lonzo was substituted for Norberto Atauri. Santo Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ascensión's Honorio Montae got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Honorio Montae off the ground. Enzo Bixintxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Hurko went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Domingos Hurko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Enzo Bixintxo made a huge save. Enzo Bixintxo was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Delmiro Lonzo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delmiro Lonzo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Miljo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
