The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Javier Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Timoteo Bladi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tadeo Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Formosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Illart came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Son Son cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tadeo Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adolfo Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Galip Öveç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Son Son put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeo Distiratsu. Adolfo Lastur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galip Öveç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Formosa FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Urbano Bautista hit a great ball. Son Son took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeo Distiratsu. Formosa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Son Son sped through Formosa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Distiratsu. After a defensive mix-up in Formosa FC's zone, Son Son stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Distiratsu came out of the goal and Son Son tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Justino Javiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Distiratsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Geronimo Berart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Distiratsu came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Son Son. But to his dismay, Son Son quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The Formosa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rincón de los Sauces AFC were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Lastur to make the kick off. Tadeo Distiratsu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Son Son showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 60 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Adolfo Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Galip Öveç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Son Son could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Tadeo Distiratsu however easily saved by the left post. In the 68th minute, Formosa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Son Son fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 72 minutes into the game, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Son Son nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Distiratsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Tadeo Distiratsu was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Cesar Illart capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesar Illart really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Tadeo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tadeo Distiratsu came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Justino Javiar. But to his dismay, Justino Javiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Formosa FC's Federico Jenaro was substituted for Geronimo Berart. In the 87th minute, Son Son made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Distiratsu. Formosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Tadeo Distiratsu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Son Son went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. The Formosa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rincón de los Sauces AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
