Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Tulio started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Roma FC's Alfredo Crescencio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Markel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Virgilio Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Roma FC's Alfredo Crescencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Markel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute, Virgilio Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Virgilio Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Baibiene FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Illart came free, but Leonel Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Baibiene FC defense, Flavio Illart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Markel. The Baibiene FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Markel should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Baibiene FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Crescencio came free, but Leonel Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Tulio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Markel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Leonel Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alfredo Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Crescencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Markel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes Baibiene FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Aznar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Sindo was the one to do the kick off. Virgilio Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 52 played minutes Baibiene FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Policarpio. The audience was convinced that Patrick Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Markel was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Leonel Markel made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Virgilio Tulio sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Vander in the 70th minute of play forced Baibiene FC's goalkeeper Leonel Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Vander in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Baibiene FC's Bonifacio Policarpio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Justino Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Roma FC's Alfredo Crescencio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Baibiene FC. Fermin Kaiet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Rico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Markel. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. Leonel Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
