Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Maximiliano Eutropio came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Peñico's Robustiano Evangelista. But to his dismay, Robustiano Evangelista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Peñico booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Aquilino Tonete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Eutropio was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Prospero Errolan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prospero Errolan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Leonardo Chap blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Salles having to make a save. Aquilino Tonete hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Tonete in the 29th minute of play forced Peñico's goalkeeper José Vítor Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Errolan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Eutropio made a huge save. Saverio Gilabert's late challenge caught a Peñico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Gilabert helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Saverio Gilabert hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peñico's zone, Paulino Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Salles came out of the goal and Paulino Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Chap took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Vítor Salles. José Vítor Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Leonardo Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Errolan made a kick off. Robustiano Evangelista might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximiliano Eutropio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robustiano Evangelista ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Dertycia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Eutropio having to interfere. Rodrigo Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Salles having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lv Jing Yu during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Lv Jing Yu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Eutropio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Evangelista's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. José Vítor Salles made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Leonardo Chap sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Dertycia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Errolan in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Beremundo in the 77th minute of play forced Peñico's goalkeeper José Vítor Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Errolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Robustiano Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñico's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Eutropio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Evangelista in the 89th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Maximiliano Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peñico's Prospero Errolan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but José Vítor Salles made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Peñico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
