Benjamin Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Markel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Baibiene FC's Bonifacio Policarpio got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Txeru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Markel was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Georges-Philippe Puttemas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Leonel Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Txeru in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Benjamin Txeru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Markel. Baibiene FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Txeru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that Chacarita Juniors were the better team. Chacarita Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
