The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Hotz got free with Daniel Lixandro in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Lixandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Placido Hotz sped through Candelaria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Lixandro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Rafel got free with Daniel Lixandro in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candelaria's Florencio Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Millano in the 26th minute of play. Jesus Rafel spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Candelaria's goal. Daniel Lixandro was a little too slow when Placido Hotz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 35th minute, Victoriano Millano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Lixandro. The goal made the score 4-0. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Bilardistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Saverio Eneas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bilardistas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Bilardistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Gaizkine to make the kick off. Candelaria's Daniel Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Millano in the 53rd minute of play. Saverio Eneas scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Lixandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Rafel during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesus Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Daniel Lixandro came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bilardistas's Victoriano Millano. But to his dismay, Victoriano Millano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Daniel Lixandro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Rafel went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Placido Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilardistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Hotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Lixandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Lixandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Eneas in the 71st minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, Bilardistas's Eriberto Henry shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Lixandro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bilardistas reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Millano in the 91st minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Daniel Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Placido Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bilardistas had played much better football throughout.
