The supporters of Vagues FC booed when Soy Cordobés AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Esteve Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tomás Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Tauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prudencio Licerio went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tomás Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Bermudo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Tauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Vagues FC defense, Prudencio Licerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Tauro. The Vagues FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Tauro should have stopped the shot. Soy Cordobés AFC's Benigno Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Prudencio Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Tauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Bermudo went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Soy Cordobés AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Licerio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Licerio in the 53rd minute of play forced Vagues FC's goalkeeper Tomás Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Vagues FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Licerio came free, but Tomás Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soy Cordobés AFC's Erubiel Fix suffered a sore thigh after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Ongile during the 71st minute. In the 86th match minute, Vagues FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Soy Cordobés AFC's Prudencio Licerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Tauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vagues FC's Tomás Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Licerio in the 95th minute of play. Soy Cordobés AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
