The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Gowlan AFC's Ernesto Farias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justino Abadia. That made the score 3-0 after 17 minutes of play. Gowlan AFC's Agustin Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Millano in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Bilardistas's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Farias came free, but Justino Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gowlan AFC's Humberto Matos got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Jesus Rafel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Argoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manuel Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Hotz in the 41st minute of the match. Dalmacio Manny charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Manny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmacio Manny hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Ernesto Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 49 minutes into the match, Placido Hotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustin Argoitz. Gowlan AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Hotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

In the 54th minute, Tadeo Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Hotz in the 61st minute. Gowlan AFC's Manuel Gumaro suffered a concussion in the 62nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Eriberto Henry hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Justino Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides López in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Ernesto Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Macerio charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Macerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Bilardistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Macerio to maneuver through the defense. If Ernesto Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Ernesto Farias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Humberto Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gowlan AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The supporters of Bilardistas booed when Gowlan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Haldriis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Hotz in the 87th minute. Agustin Argoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Millano in the 93rd minute of play. Gowlan AFC's Agustin Argoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Gowlan AFC from getting a goal against them. Gowlan AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
