Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felipe Gaizkine kicked off to start the match. Marcos Fix scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Lixandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute, Ernesto Farias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Lixandro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Fix came free, but Daniel Lixandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Lapurdi's late challenge caught a Gowlan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Lapurdi helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Lapurdi. Marcos Fix took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Lixandro. Candelaria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Ernesto Farias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Daniel Lixandro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Felipe Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Gumaro during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute Ernesto Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Manuel Gumaro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Lixandro. If Manuel Gumaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Ernesto Farias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Lixandro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Candelaria's Daniel Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Manny in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Marcos Fix notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Candelaria's Daniel Lixandro. Daniel Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gowlan AFC's Ernesto Farias managed to work through Candelaria's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ernesto Farias dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Farias in the 44th minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Daniel Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Ernesto Farias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Lixandro. Candelaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Farias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After the first half Gowlan AFC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Lixandro was a little too slow when Marcos Fix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Gumaro got free with Daniel Lixandro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Lixandro came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Gowlan AFC's Ernesto Farias. But to his dismay, Ernesto Farias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Farias in the 64th minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Daniel Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goalkeeper Daniel Lixandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Gumaro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Fix got free with Daniel Lixandro in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Manny in the 71st minute of play. Daniel Lixandro was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Ernesto Farias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Farias really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. 75 minutes into the match, Humberto Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Lixandro. Candelaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Daniel Lixandro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Haldriis in the 79th minute. Candelaria's Daniel Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Fix in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Fix in the 83rd minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Daniel Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Ernesto Farias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Lixandro. The goal made the score 0-13. Daniel Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Farias in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Marcos Fix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Daniel Lixandro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Manuel Gumaro notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Candelaria's Daniel Lixandro. Daniel Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Farias hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Gowlan AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Candelaria throughout the match.
