Bilardistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saiko Team the free kick. 36 minutes into the match, Saiko Team's Nereo Eleder broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Bilardistas's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gonzales came free, but Justino Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Placido Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Truylos to make the kick off. The supporters of Saiko Team booed when Bilardistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rafael Gonzales came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Saiko Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gonzales couldn't finish the play. If Anacleto Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Hotz struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Roque Elorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bilardistas. After 65 minutes of play, Bilardistas's Victoriano Millano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Placido Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Saiko Team got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Elixio. If Placido Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Placido Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Elorri having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Placido Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilardistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Saiko Team getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Christian Eron hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Victoriano Millano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Roque Elorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Rafael Gonzales got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Anacleto Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
