Ismael Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barak Trump, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steffen Lazarev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Machado having to make a save. Adan Astrada charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Astrada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adan Astrada hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Copetonas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Locaio to maneuver through the defense. If Barak Trump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Avellaneda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacinto Libertad. After a rather tough play, Ampolla's Steffen Lazarev got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rosendo Avellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With 46 minutes on the clock, Jason Oliviers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 45 minutes into the game, one of Ampolla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Abel Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barak Trump in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Machado saved Copetonas from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Barak Trump ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Barak Trump recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Machado having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Agustin Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampolla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copetonas the free kick.
