Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tancacha's Luis Leguizamón started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Lino Vellito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Machado was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Eliseo Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copetonas's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Jaunti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Jaunti having to interfere. Nicanor Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Ubaldo Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Abaunza struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nicanor Jaunti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copetonas. If Luis Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Astrada succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. Nicanor Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Abaunza in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Luis Leguizamón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Machado. Copetonas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Leguizamón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luis Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Machado having to interfere. Adan Astrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nicanor Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Luis Leguizamón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 46th minute, Eliseo Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Abaunza made a kick off. If Luis Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Vellito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Lino Vellito came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tancacha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Vellito couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copetonas's goalkeeper Ismael Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Copetonas's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Leguizamón came free, but Ismael Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Copetonas booed when Tancacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Tancacha's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Abaunza came free, but Nicanor Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Leguizamón in the 79th minute of play forced Copetonas's goalkeeper Ismael Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Luis Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Jaunti came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Copetonas's Eliseo Abaunza. But to his dismay, Eliseo Abaunza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Leguizamón in the 91st minute of play forced Copetonas's goalkeeper Ismael Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tancacha's Nicanor Jaunti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Abaunza in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
