Rosendo Avellaneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Ermanno Anastasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ampolla's Rosendo Avellaneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. József Székely might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Avellaneda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermanno Anastasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, Falcone FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Erauso to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ampolla's Rosendo Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Anastasi in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Ampolla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Oliviers to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. József Székely was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Ampolla's goalkeeper Rosendo Avellaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Alvarez. Ermanno Anastasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Avellaneda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play.
