With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Avellaneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Iker Chayo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rosendo Avellaneda. Paolo Tercero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barak Trump in the 5th minute of the match. Aldo Birila's late challenge caught a Phodak F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Birila helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo Birila kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Phodak F.C's Iker Chayo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Avellaneda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Barak Trump's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Tercero was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth Rivière in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Avellaneda saved Ampolla from getting behind. Steffen Lazarev struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Paolo Tercero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampolla. The crowd rose to their feet as Barak Trump kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paolo Tercero. That made the score 1-2 in the 35 minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Ampolla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Bento to maneuver through the defense. Phodak F.C's Iker Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barak Trump to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Garcia during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 51 minutes into the game, one of Phodak F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Phodak F.C:s Paolo Tercero showed great skill when he stopped Barak Trump:s penalty. Ampolla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artemio Bento in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Aldo Birila got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Tercero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Ampolla booed when Phodak F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Tercero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barak Trump, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Steffen Lazarev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Rivière took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Avellaneda. Rosendo Avellaneda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Alvaro Romo's late challenge caught a Phodak F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th match minute, Phodak F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Ekain to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Artemio Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampolla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Ampolla's Aldo Birila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Tercero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Kenneth Rivière managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phodak F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Rivière was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ampolla supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Phodak F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Phodak F.C.
