Mario Ederono was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evelio Gomez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gomez in the 34th minute of play forced Barrio Parque AFC's goalkeeper Mario Ederono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Nemesio Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrio Parque AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
