An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Socorro in the 24th minute of play forced Zenit FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Rumaldo in the 29th minute. Isaac Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya having to interfere. Anacleto Aguilera charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Aguilera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Neisseria FC booed when Zenit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Aguilera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Socorro made a kick off. Donny Light hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Everardo Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zenit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Lope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Rumaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Everardo Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neisseria FC. When Neisseria FC's Isaac Rumaldo in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Zenit FC's protests and gave Gregorio Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. Gregorio Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Zenit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Socorro came free, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Aguilera got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zenit FC's Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Socorro in the 90th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Socorro in the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Zenit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Victorio Caetano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neisseria FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
