Reynaldo Johans's late challenge caught a El Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Johans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A. INDEPENDIENTE getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Reynaldo Johans hit a great ball. Tulio Contratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Telesforo having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gomez came free, but Roque Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ijaz Putāns received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Telesforo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ijaz Putāns slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. Mariano Telesforo was a little too slow when Ijaz Putāns got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. Tulio Contratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Evelio Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bladi came free, but Roque Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Franco in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Tulio Contratas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Telesforo. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tulio Contratas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, El Azulgrana's Tulio Contratas got a free kick in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gomez came free, but Roque Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gomez in the 47th minute of play forced El Azulgrana's goalkeeper Roque Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Victor Bladi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Telesforo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by El Azulgrana's Vinicio Franco. But to his dismay, Vinicio Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. El Azulgrana's Gregorio Laurin was substituted for Tulio Contratas. El Azulgrana made a substitution. 曲战瑜 replaced Celestino Elorri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Laurin in the 60th minute of play forced C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Mariano Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evelio Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Gregorio Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Franco took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Telesforo. Mariano Telesforo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Mariano Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Laurin in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, El Azulgrana's Vinicio Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Telesforo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. After 92 played minutes C.A. INDEPENDIENTE got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Cuartio. In the 94th minute, Bartolo Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Savion made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Siro Sesuldo sent off a good shot on target. El Azulgrana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
