In the 7th match minute, Neisseria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Benet to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Neisseria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Rolado came free, but Nereo Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Astigar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Rolado's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Mauricio Benet fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neisseria FC's protests and gave Mauricio Benet a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Winners booed when Neisseria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Rolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Victorio Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Lázaro Rolado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Winners's Teofilo Rocio got a free kick in the 25th minute. Neisseria FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Winners's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victorio Caetano took the corner. Eriberto Oinatz tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eusebio Aguirre. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 28th minute. Nereo Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Rolado in the 32nd minute of the match. If Lázaro Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Neisseria FC got a freekick which was hit by Donny Light. Aquiles Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Aguirre having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neisseria FC's zone, Julian Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Astigar came out of the goal and Julian Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Socorro to make the kick off. Eusebio Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Socorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes of play, Winners's Julian Illan made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Astigar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Neisseria FC booed when Winners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Santo Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Aguirre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Rumaldo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If Isaac Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Neisseria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Benet to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Leonardo Gervaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aquiles Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Astigar having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Winners's Lázaro Rolado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nereo Astigar. Nereo Astigar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The Winners supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Winners would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
