Javier Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nunez Rameriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Sengrat having to make a save. Panacán's Armando Jerrold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Guerrero in the 8th minute of play. Amado Arnalt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Armando Jerrold made a huge save. Armando Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Guerrero in the 11th minute of the match. Amado Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Jerrold having to interfere. Armando Jerrold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Guerrero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to Panacán getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Javier Fresco hit a great ball. Armando Jerrold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Amado Arnalt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Eloy Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Iraitz in the 26th minute of play. If Amado Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Humberto Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Pedro Ponciano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Jerrold. Pedro Ponciano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Panacán's Feliciano Iraitz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyon FC's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Amado Arnalt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Jerrold, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Iraitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Guerrero scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Jerrold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliciano Iraitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Sengrat having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Saverio Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Buinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Jerrold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Amado Arnalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Jerrold was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Gabriel Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Amado Arnalt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The Panacán fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Panacán's Nunez Rameriz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Nunez Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Lyon FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Lyon FC's Amado Arnalt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lyon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
