Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Feliciano Iraitz made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Iraitz came free, but Sílvio Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Iraitz in the 3rd minute of the match. Sílvio Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Jerrold came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's Aureliano Torres. But to his dismay, Aureliano Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Panacán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Pirro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Ricardo Ramirez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Armando Jerrold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's Carlos Otsoa got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Aureliano Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Jerrold. Panacán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Sandu Sălcudeanu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Panacán's Armando Jerrold. Armando Jerrold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 minutes, Feliciano Iraitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panacán and the CLUB ATLETICO GERLI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO GERLI booed when Panacán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Jerrold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Otsoa went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's Sílvio Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Iraitz in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's Aureliano Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Jerrold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's Sílvio Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Iraitz in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Torres in the 44th minute of play forced Panacán's goalkeeper Armando Jerrold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Otsoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Jerrold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After 48 minutes, Aureliano Torres made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Panacán's Armando Jerrold tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Panacán got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Sabin. In the 56th minute, one of Panacán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panacán. Armando Jerrold went to the wrong direction when Ricardo Ramirez was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Aureliano Torres sped through Panacán's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Jerrold. In the 65th minute, Carlos Otsoa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armando Jerrold, passed just outside the right post. Carlos Otsoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Jerrold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Otsoa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dario Ferreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Carlos Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Jerrold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Jerrold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandu Sălcudeanu in the 71st minute. Delmar Federigo's late challenge caught a CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Federigo helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandu Sălcudeanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Jerrold. That made the score 0-12 in the 93 minute of play. If Aureliano Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
