An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Iruinea in the 19th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO GERLI's goalkeeper Sílvio Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isauro Sota got free with Sílvio Leme in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isauro Sota got free with Sílvio Leme in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Abel Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Morteros booed when CLUB ATLETICO GERLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Salomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match, Hermengildo Iruinea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sílvio Leme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Torres in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Santo saved Morteros from getting behind. Sílvio Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Morteros's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Ferreras came free, but Marco Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Hermengildo Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morteros and the CLUB ATLETICO GERLI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO GERLI booed when Morteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Morteros eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
