After a rather tough play, Chanilao FC's Eugenio Peru got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Locomotora's Hilario Breogan got control of the ball when Eugenio Peru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Liberto struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Isaac Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locomotora. Hilario Breogan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Locomotora's Hilario Breogan got control of the ball when Amauri Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Tonete in the 22nd minute of the match. Isaac Chuan came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Locomotora's Edgard Dimo. But to his dismay, Edgard Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Amauri Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Locomotora got a freekick which was hit by Andres Precioso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Dimo in the 38th minute of play forced Chanilao FC's goalkeeper Isaac Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Locomotora! The crowd rose to their feet as Chanilao FC's Urbano Bartoli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilario Breogan. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Edgard Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Chuan having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Amauri Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Breogan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Chanilao FC's Oscar Ubarna was substituted for Urbano Bartoli. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Dimo was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Locomotora's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Urki came free, but Hilario Breogan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Breogan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Ferreira in the 59th minute of the match. Hilario Breogan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Locomotora getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Andres Precioso hit a great ball. Amauri Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Breogan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Edgard Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Chuan having to interfere. Hilario Breogan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Chanilao FC defense, Edgard Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Chuan. The Chanilao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Chuan should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Amauri Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Breogan having to interfere. Edgard Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Liberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Chuan having to make a save. Edgard Dimo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Isaac Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locomotora. Locomotora's Hilario Breogan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Sotil in the 86th minute of play. Amauri Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Chuan having to interfere. Locomotora were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
