Arnulfo Txurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Chuan having to interfere. Arnulfo Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Isaac Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Atlanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chanilao FC booed when Atlanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rich Osborn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Chuan having to interfere. With a little luck, Chanilao FC's Isaac Chuan got control of the ball when Arnulfo Txurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Txurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Eustacio Rameriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Bertol in the 29th minute of play. Bernardino Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janosch Grünenwald hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bernardino Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Chanilao FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severino Aguirre in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Severino Aguirre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardino Elorri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Bertol in the 41st minute of play forced Atlanta FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Severino Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Txurio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaac Chuan. That made the score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Aguirre to strike the kick off in the second half. Rich Osborn charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rich Osborn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rich Osborn kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Chanilao FC's Hermengildo Giro was substituted for Severino Aguirre. German Bertol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bernardino Elorri made a huge save. Atlanta FC's Bernardino Elorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Corderro in the 71st minute of play. Bernardino Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Quinten's late challenge caught a Chanilao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Quinten helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlanta FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Astor Quinten hit a great ball. With his leg Bernardino Elorri managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Chanilao FC's Amauri Ferreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Atlanta FC's Bernardino Elorri got control of the ball when Amauri Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlanta FC's Rich Osborn got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Chanilao FC's Amauri Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Elorri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Hermengildo Giro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eustacio Rameriz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Atlanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hermengildo Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chanilao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Giro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Elorri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Atlanta FC's Arnulfo Txurio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Chanilao FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
