The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Prudencio Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bernardino Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CELE FC booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Colt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Raul Lehen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Chuan skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute Felipe Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliberto Gergori was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Guillem during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, one of Tala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tala. In the 56th minute, Tala's Felipe Segio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 60 minutes into the game, Erubiel Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CELE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tala the free kick. In the 60th minute, Erubiel Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64thth minute of the game Felipe Segio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CELE FC's Arnulfo Alonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 played minutes CELE FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Cordeiro. Ercole Tolin's late challenge caught a CELE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ercole Tolin helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Tolin. In the 89th minute, Iker Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Gergori in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Segio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnulfo Alonso. That made the score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. The Tala players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
