The referee showed Jorge Heriberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Heriberto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Pedro Isidor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edgardo Balasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CATELCO's Edgardo Balasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CATELCO from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Checa got free with Edgardo Balasi in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Edgardo Balasi managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Cieneguita AFC's Cristobal Checa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, CATELCO's goalkeeper Edgardo Balasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gökçek Koçhan. Edgardo Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçek Koçhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the CATELCO defense, Inocencio Bilbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Balasi. The CATELCO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Balasi should have stopped the shot. CATELCO's Edgardo Balasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save CATELCO from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Edgardo Balasi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Isidor took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Balasi. Edgardo Balasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. CATELCO's Edgardo Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Bilbo in the 44th minute of play. Edgardo Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Isidor in the 45th minute of the match. Edgardo Balasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Checa in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

But to his dismay, Cristobal Checa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Cieneguita AFC's Pedro Isidor in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CATELCO's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 minutes, Francisco Palban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CATELCO and the Cieneguita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Palban hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Satordi during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes CATELCO got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Satordi. After some careless play in the CATELCO defense, Pedro Isidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Balasi. The CATELCO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Balasi should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Pedro Isidor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Balasi. CATELCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Isidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Edgardo Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökçek Koçhan in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Pedro Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Checa took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Balasi. Edgardo Balasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 11-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Pedro Isidor elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Isidor in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Balasi saved CATELCO from getting behind. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by CATELCO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Isidor was slow to take the kick. During this time Cieneguita AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pedro Isidor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CATELCO's Edgardo Balasi did a great save. Edgardo Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Isidor in the 96th minute of play.
