With a little luck, UPAU FC's Emanuel Persson got control of the ball when Timoteo Maju tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helbreath's Zebastian Bratt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Persson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 5 minutes into the match, Helbreath's Timoteo Maju sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Persson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of UPAU FC booed when Helbreath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Gimenez came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by UPAU FC's Edgardo Flor. But to his dismay, Edgardo Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Bartolo Ignazio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helbreath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Ignazio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Timoteo Maju in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 23rd minute Victorino Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Victorino Joseph tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Persson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zebastian Bratt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Emanuel Persson made a huge save. Pablo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Cordarell in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Helbreath's Eusebio Suero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Persson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Victorino Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Persson having to interfere. Eusebio Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Cordarell hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Emanuel Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Maju in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Zebastian Bratt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Persson having to interfere. The supporters of Helbreath booed when UPAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cruz Fuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. UPAU FC's Emanuel Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Maju in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Timoteo Maju cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Emanuel Persson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaudencio Sandalio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Emanuel Persson came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Helbreath's Bartolo Ignazio. But to his dismay, Bartolo Ignazio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Bartolo Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emanuel Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Helbreath's Victorino Joseph nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Persson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Emanuel Persson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Maju's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Emanuel Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emanuel Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Helbreath's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Ayrton came free, but Pablo Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helbreath's Timoteo Maju got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eusebio Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
