Saul Koldobika ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Balasi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Primeiro went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Saul Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Nereo Matei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Balasi. CATELCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Matei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After the first half Confederacion Argentina were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Primeiro was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, CATELCO's Edgardo Balasi got control of the ball when Nereo Matei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Confederacion Argentina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
