But to his dismay, Tomas Herauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ayajasco's Luisão Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ayajasco from getting a goal against them. Luisão Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Rocendo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th match minute, Ayajasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Marley to maneuver through the defense. Ayajasco's Luisão Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ayajasco from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Bernardino Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Dionisio Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano con el rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Guido Rocendo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Luisão Catarinense to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Guido Rocendo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Guido Rocendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Catarinense.
