Remigio Guillen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Burni having to make a save. In the 30th minute Constantino Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Goucher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Remigio Guillen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremias Burni. That made the score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. With a little luck, Surisaltana FC's Jeremias Burni got control of the ball when Primitivo Oihan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Conrado Hurko notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Huanchilla FC's Jamie Goucher. Jamie Goucher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Huanchilla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Surisaltana FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Guillen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Huanchilla FC's zone, Conrado Hurko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamie Goucher came out of the goal and Conrado Hurko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Auguste Ollivier's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 81st match minute, Surisaltana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Silvino to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Goucher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Hurko in the 87th minute. Conrado Hurko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
