Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Rocendo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Guido Rocendo sped through Atlético Melipal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramon Selatse. With a little luck, Atlético Melipal's Ramon Selatse got control of the ball when Guido Rocendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Herauso in the 76th minute of play forced Atlético Melipal's goalkeeper Ramon Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guido Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Guido Rocendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugano con el rojo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Guido Rocendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Selatse having to make a save.
