Jairo Tino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Ekhi having to make a save. Alberto Gizon hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Fidel Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maluko Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Cidro was slow to take the kick. During this time Domínguez AFC's players had a chance to rest. Domínguez AFC's Artemio Cidro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severino Ekhi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 13 minutes Maluko Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Cidro who took care of the corner kick. In the 14thth minute of the game Fidel Gaitano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maluko Juniors's Severino Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Humberto Hermon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Ekhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ivan Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Artemio Cidro fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 22nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 28th minute, Maluko Juniors's Bruno Blasi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Omar Conrao. Omar Conrao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Jairo Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Ekhi having to interfere. Severino Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 41 minutes of play, Domínguez AFC's Jairo Tino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Ekhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Severino Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Domínguez AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Humberto Hermon hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Berend Stuifzand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Conrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Maluko Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Cesario. Domínguez AFC's Bernabe Weterio was substituted for Bartolo Karlo. The supporters of Domínguez AFC booed when Maluko Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Cesario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Severino Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maluko Juniors's Severino Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Maluko Juniors from getting a goal against them. Jairo Tino took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Ekhi. Severino Ekhi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Lorenzo Pes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fidel Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Ekhi having to interfere. Isidoro Cordeiro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Gaitano got free with Severino Ekhi in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Hermon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Ekhi came out and tried to block the shot, but Humberto Hermon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Fidel Gaitano took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Severino Ekhi to make any attempt to save it. After 85 minutes Maluko Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Cidro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Domínguez AFC's Artemio Cidro to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino Ekhi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maluko Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Atilano Silbestre scored to the left of an out of position Severino Ekhi, making the score, 1-7. Fidel Gaitano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Severino Ekhi firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 92nd minute, Maluko Juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fidel Gaitano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sven-Ove Colin scored 1-8 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Ekhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
