Diego Kelemen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Cuervachios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Osoro to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Edgardo Martxot charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Martxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Cuervachios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Martxot to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Mano in the 34th minute of play forced Cuervachios's goalkeeper Diego Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Amador Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Urti's late challenge caught a Cuervachios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Urti helped the player get up and apologised. Teodosio Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Cuervachios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Ayala to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Cuervachios got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Martxot. In the 57thth minute of the game Lorenzo Mano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervachios's Diego Kelemen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paolo Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Zacarias Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Loren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Baumar scored 2-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Kelemen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Molinitos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cuervachios had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
