The corner ended in Godfredo Incera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lavayén AFC's Walery Nakoneczny did a great save. In the 9th minute of the match Juventud Obrera CSD got a corner. Lavayén AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silverio Quiroga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th minute Maximino Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walery Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jere Mitovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jere Mitovski in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walery Nakoneczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jere Mitovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Walery Nakoneczny made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Juventud Obrera CSD's Jere Mitovski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walery Nakoneczny. Walery Nakoneczny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Walery Nakoneczny made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when 何博傲 sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Ederono hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Silverio Quiroga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Walery Nakoneczny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Walery Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bilintx in the 26th minute of play. Teodoro Aguirre charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Aguirre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Lavayén AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Obrera CSD's zone, Ezequiel Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jere Mitovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Nakoneczny having to interfere. The supporters of Lavayén AFC booed when Juventud Obrera CSD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. 何博傲 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walery Nakoneczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jere Mitovski in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Obrera CSD's zone, Ezequiel Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Cooper came out of the goal and Ezequiel Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jere Mitovski was the one to do the kick off. Juventud Obrera CSD's Bruce Cooper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Cordarin in the 51st minute of play. Walery Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lavayén AFC's Ezequiel Machado in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juventud Obrera CSD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jere Mitovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 何博傲 in the 73rd minute of play forced Lavayén AFC's goalkeeper Walery Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventud Obrera CSD's Silverio Quiroga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walery Nakoneczny in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 76th minute, Felipe Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Felipe Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jere Mitovski came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Juventud Obrera CSD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jere Mitovski couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Lavayén AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lavayén AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventud Obrera CSD.
