Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Sugoi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Gaitan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gaudencio Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento. Felix Urtsua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Gaudencio Gaitan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Adan Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rata de alcantarilla's zone, Felix Urtsua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Gaitan came out of the goal and Felix Urtsua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes, Enrique Sugoi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rata de alcantarilla's Gaudencio Gaitan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adan Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sarmiento defense, Adan Cuartio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 蔡庭峰. The Sarmiento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 蔡庭峰 should have stopped the shot. Gaudencio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Bidari made a kick off. Rata de alcantarilla's Gaudencio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Urtsua in the 91st minute of play. Gaudencio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 94 minutes, Justino Bidari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rata de alcantarilla and the Sarmiento players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sarmiento's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
