After 18 minutes, Ignacio Luar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rata de alcantarilla and the Facundouba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Emesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaudencio Gaitan. Rata de alcantarilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Rata de alcantarilla's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Amaya came free, but Gaudencio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Esquipula made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Adan Cuartio sent off a good shot on target. Adan Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Esquipula having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Norberto Montxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Gaitan was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Justino Bidari made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Franco during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rata de alcantarilla fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Facundouba FC. Maximino Emesto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaudencio Gaitan. 1-1. Efrain Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Bidari in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Rata de alcantarilla got a corner. Facundouba FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uriel Pes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Facundouba FC defense, Justino Bidari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Esquipula. The Facundouba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Esquipula should have stopped the shot. After having played for 64 minutes, Justino Bidari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rata de alcantarilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Bidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Esquipula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Cuartio went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Adan Cuartio took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Esquipula. Efrain Esquipula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Efrain Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Bidari in the 73rd minute of the match. If Adan Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Facundouba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Nalo to maneuver through the defense. When Adan Cuartio came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rata de alcantarilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Cuartio couldn't finish the play. When Rata de alcantarilla's Adan Cuartio in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adan Cuartio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Esquipula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Facundouba FC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Regis. There was no doubt that Rata de alcantarilla were the better team. Rata de alcantarilla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
