Spectators: 7623 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Jeronimo Errapel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Victorino Suarez made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Errapel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victorino Suarez. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Augusto Procopio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Victorino Suarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 played minutes Hard Rock got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Sidoro. 29 minutes into the match, Hard Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Errapel came free, but Victorino Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Santiago Bautista came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Bautista couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Errapel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victorino Suarez came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeronimo Errapel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Jeronimo Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeronimo Errapel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Suarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Bautista hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Hard Rock's Victorino Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Errapel in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Errapel made a kick off. Zeledon Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Vachon. In the 55th minute, Jeronimo Errapel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jeronimo Errapel might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Errapel ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 minutes, Jeronimo Errapel made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hard Rock's Victorino Suarez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hard Rock defense, Jeronimo Errapel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Suarez. The Hard Rock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Suarez should have stopped the shot. After 70 played minutes Hard Rock got a freekick which was hit by Blas Baldovino. Jeronimo Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Jeronimo Errapel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hard Rock's Victorino Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jeronimo Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Procopio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Suarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. SOUTH THUNDER's Bonifacio Arias was substituted for Jeronimo Errapel. Victorino Suarez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Bonifacio Arias. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SOUTH THUNDER had played much better football throughout.
