An unexpectedly hard shot by Üzeyir Akboy in the 20th minute of play forced Rocky Balboa Team's goalkeeper Sebastian Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sebastian Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Muno came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by La Matanza FC's Üzeyir Akboy. But to his dismay, Üzeyir Akboy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Üzeyir Akboy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sebastian Muno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Rocky Balboa Team booed when La Matanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half La Matanza FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Matanza FC made a substitution. Casimiro Estebe replaced Üzeyir Akboy. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denílson Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Muno made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Casimiro Estebe sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, La Matanza FC's Mauricio Rosario got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Constantino Teyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocky Balboa Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Matanza FC the free kick. Constantino Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Eleuterio Ondino made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Matanza FC's Mauricio Rosario. When Casimiro Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the La Matanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Estebe couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Casimiro Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casimiro Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sebastian Muno made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Jorge Mero notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of La Matanza FC's Eleuterio Cambranes. Eleuterio Cambranes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eleuterio Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Capixaba in the 96th minute of play. La Matanza FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
