The supporters of Rocky Balboa Team booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Muno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Arias in the 16th minute of play. Santo Lehior hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After the first half SOUTH THUNDER were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Capixaba made a kick off. Jeronimo Errapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Muno had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bonifacio Arias from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jeronimo Errapel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Muno having to make a save. Desiderio Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Capixaba in the 65th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Jeronimo Errapel made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rocky Balboa Team's Sebastian Muno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SOUTH THUNDER made a substitution. Germán Pezzella replaced Norberto Incendio. A sloppy throw-in by Conrado Emesto in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rocky Balboa Team's Cosme Berenguer. After 73 played minutes Augusto Procopio rounded Rocky Balboa Team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Denílson Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocky Balboa Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Jeronimo Errapel scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Muno, making the score, 1-5. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Bonifacio Arias took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Sebastian Muno to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Errapel got free with Sebastian Muno in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SOUTH THUNDER eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
