The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Manuelo in the 4th minute of play forced Hard Rock's goalkeeper Victorino Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Hard Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Basualdo came free, but Victorino Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hard Rock's Victorino Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Orlandus in the 7th minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Gervasio Orlandus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hard Rock's Victorino Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victorino Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Taurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Baltasar Guilabertus hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Ekans's Arnaldo Basualdo in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hard Rock's goalie prevented a goal. If Gervasio Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Hard Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Orlandus came free, but Victorino Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Gervasio Orlandus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The excitement rose when Ekans's Lino Asur after 43 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Hard Rock's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-4. The Hard Rock players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ekans were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Orlandus to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ekans's Guaberto Manuelo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victorino Suarez. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. Hard Rock's Victorino Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Manuelo in the 55th minute of play. Arnaldo Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Suarez having to interfere. When the match was over Ekans could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hard Rock throughout the match.
