After 33 minutes of play, SOUTH THUNDER's Bonifacio Arias made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Lizardi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desiderio Lizardi came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Procopio. But to his dismay, Augusto Procopio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Desiderio Lizardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Emesto in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Errapel made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Jeronimo Errapel could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Desiderio Lizardi however easily saved by the left post. CA La Chola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Ondino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Augusto Procopio in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match was over SOUTH THUNDER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA La Chola throughout the match.
