Silvano Gartzi hit a great ball. After the first half Huascán AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Matanza FC's Casimiro Estebe was substituted for Üzeyir Akboy. The wind increased when Benicio Malvin made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Ramond's late challenge caught a La Matanza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Ramond helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Matanza FC booed when Huascán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position.
