When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Los Chirimbolos's Cristoforo Lenzi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sebastian Muno. After having played for 13 minutes, Francois Hack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Chirimbolos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francois Hack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Fermin Valiente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Francois Hack came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Los Chirimbolos fans jumped to their feet. Sebastian Muno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Chirimbolos. Primitivo Modestio might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Muno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Modestio ran back to his position shaking his head. Pinilih Sutimbul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinilih Sutimbul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Chirimbolos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fermin Valiente was slow to take the kick. During this time Rocky Balboa Team's players had a chance to rest. Fermin Valiente made a great header on Rocky Balboa Team's corner, it was just that Los Chirimbolos's Pinilih Sutimbul managed to reach the ball for a save. Sebastian Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Muno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Modestio in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Francois Hack sped through Rocky Balboa Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Muno. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denílson Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Rocky Balboa Team's zone, Francois Hack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Muno came out of the goal and Francois Hack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Muno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Modestio's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Rocky Balboa Team's goal looked a bit too open when Francois Hack came free, but Sebastian Muno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Primitivo Modestio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Francois Hack's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Muno was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Sebastian Muno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francois Hack in the 73rd minute of play. Sebastian Muno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francois Hack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Rocky Balboa Team's goal looked a bit too open when Francois Hack came free, but Sebastian Muno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Chirimbolos had won after a very even match.
